Reading the earth's surface through satellite & sensor data.

GEOMATICS & REMOTE SENSING ENGINEER · GIS · EARTH OBSERVATION

I work at the intersection of GIS, earth observation, and applied research — turning satellite imagery and spatial data into evidence for urban heat, land-use, and disaster-risk decisions across Nepal's diverse terrain.

About

I'm a geomatics engineer trained at the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, working on how remote sensing and GIS can answer real, on-the-ground problems — starting with how satellite data can map heat stress in growing cities like Pokhara.

My research pairs satellite-derived indices (land surface temperature, vegetation cover, land-use change) with GIS-based analysis, aiming for work that's rigorous enough for journals and practical enough for planners and local authorities to actually use.

I'm currently building out this portfolio and open to collaboration, research, and geospatial engineering roles — based in Pokhara, open to opportunities in Nepal and abroad.
